What is The Windows ReadMe?

Hey! My name is Chris Hoffman. I’ve been covering Windows professionally since the Windows 7 era -- and using it since the days of Windows 3.1. I’m a regular contributor to publications like PCWorld and am the former Editor-in-Chief of How-To Geek.

The Windows ReadMe is my personal Windows PC tips and tricks newsletter where you’ll hear directly from me, once a week. It’s also the official newsletter partner of Thurrott.com, and I’ll be promoting Paul Thurrott’s awesome work in it. It’s a spiritual successor to the Windows Intelligence newsletter I wrote for The Intelligence for two years.

I want to go back to what tech blogs originally were -- a useful and fun experience that respects your time. No focus on viral headlines -- just writing human-to-human. Let’s give it a try:

The Windows ReadMe will shift, change, and evolve over time. But I’ve got a lot of fun ideas, and I look forward to the journey. I hope you’ll join me for it.
